Hello everyone,
I did a set of gels last week on a fellow geek , she said the shape was good but after a few days they started to chip at the smile line then break off so what could the problem be ??
Im training with en at the moment and however great my hand is it dosen't use it's talons everyday so it doesn't get knockes hence the practise on some live prey lol !!

i used tips and one colour gel..

I would suggest incorrect structure of the enhancement. It is harder to build an apex with gel. If the gel is too thin it is likely to shatter with any knocks.
Talk us through your process, there may be something you are missing out.

Hiya .. could be a number of things...prep...gel to thin...gel too thick...length of nails....

did you remove the shine from the tips...?

is the gel still firmly adhered to the nail plate...?

there no lifting at all just the chips here is wat i do !!

1. prep nail well
2. Apply tips blend and scrub
3. Apply thin bonder layer & cure 3 mins
4. Apply builder as in nailclass book paying att to apex cure 3 mins
5.file to good shape check applied another layer as apex eas a bit skinny
6.filed again applied finishing layer !!!

also the last layer has no shine when i remove the residue,
maybe im making it to thin on the sides??

are you using the right lamp...was the last layer TOO thin.

i use the lamp that came with the kit !!

the last layer might be how do i get it nice without making it lumpy again ??
