Hi
Can any geeks that use Chix Nail Wraps talk me through how u apply them?
I tried them out last night as follows:

1.Used NSI nail cleanse, then pushed backed cuticle
2.Buffed nail gently to remove shine and shaped free edge
3.Heated the selected nail wrap for a min(with hairdryer) then applied and stretched over nail whilst using finger and orange wood stick to smooth out any bubbles
4.snip excess away
5.file downwards any excess wrap
6.applied glaze n go and cured for 2mins

Ive a feeling am doing something wrong but not sure what?
Ive had 2 come off today, peel straight off!
Any advice welcome :) x

hi hun
i use them with no problem i only apply my topcoat to cap the free edge as when you cure the top coat (im assuming you applyed it overthe top ) it can contract and pull at the wrap hope that helps:Love: my mum gets about 9 days out of hers and she really ruff on her nails

Thanks for the reply,I think when I cured them they have started curling at the sides and free edge,Do you use glaze n go? also do you heat the front or back of them? I used a hairdryer the same way Ive heard the trendy nail wraps work,Thanks again

I use Chix wraps and I dont use any top coat or glue at all.

I use an infrared heat lamp to apply them, on toes they last 6 weeks easily and on fingers clients usually get 2 weeks.

I do prep apply the wraps and use clippers or file the free edge. That is it.

**And your heating the glue on the back of the wrap so that it activates and sticks to the nailplate :wink2:
