hi

I am still pretty new to the industry and i am interested in chocotherapy treatments. I am thinking about using algologie as my skincare range and i see that they have a choco facial and body wrap.

Does anyone use this range, how do you find the products and how much do you charge?

If anyone knows of another company that does this could you give me their details and how find them to work with.

Thanks x

you have a few to chose from and if you use the SEARCH button above in the task bar you will see a few discussions already.

Gerard's do chocolate therapy for body and chocolate therapy for face
Germaine de cappacini do a hot foaming chocolate wrap
Algologie do a chocolate facial which peels off
Ellisons do a chocolate wrap that also peels off

I've just done the gerard's training and it was really good, you actually massage with the chocolate and it is an amazing massage medium.

Algologie do a chocolate facial which peels off and I find this good the body chocalate I found messy unless you have a shower, the nice thing about Algologie was there was no min order and the lady that trained me came to me and spent all day and even came back again to show me things I was not sure about. also got alot of free samples, the only down side is any one with a thyroid problem if you also get some of the seaweed based facials or body treatments.

when the rep came I thought i was getting a demo but was only shown the retail range to try on skin, I had explained on phone before meeting that I was a small business ( just me home based) and did not have alot to out lay as just brought a facial range. she told me that they supplied small home based salon I expalin I could only spend about £500 and only wanted a choc body range.

at the end of the meeting i was very interested in a few other product which came to about £500 but then she told me the min order was £2000.00 way out of home or mobile therapist I think, she did say I could place a £1000.00 order now and then another in 6 months.

not sure if this gerads in general or just the rep trying to boast sales. the product are good but you have to be doing very well to get a return on your investment. and with the credit crunch I have notice a slow down on luxuary facial and body treatments. and xmas is normally my business months for this kinda thing.

hope this helps

Thanks hunniebee that really good to know. I was really happy with everything i was sent from Aglologie so i think i will prob go with them. Im just starting out and cant afford £2000 outlay just now.
