Choices??

Hi, just reading through all the different threads and how everyone decides on their chosen skincare range. Just wanted to know why you chose the skincare brands you are using now? Do you use more than 1 skincare range. How do you market your skincare in retail?
I use Susan Molyneux skincare brand. I researched alot of skincare brands but this is the brand I liked the best. Their policy is to use natural ingredients and they deliver good results, and they have reasonable set up costs. I do find the likes of Thalgo, Guinot Dermalogica etc have a huge set up fee and I could not afford this. May be when I can afford it I would like to offer two ranges. Does any one else use Monu or Renu or even their new line Nimue? How do you rate them?

I've used Monu for about 2yrs and Renu for just over a year. I love SM products, I did loads of research and found that they were the company that suited me best - for all the reasons that you state.

The only thing I find difficult is that they sell to my clients via the website so in order to keep them buying from me I have to undercut RRP! and because Im only a very small business I find it difficult to contend with the min. order policy.

I took on Renu because I felt I had a gap in my facials for products specifically designed for more mature ladies, which I have a majority of. The range is lovely and has done extremely well.
