Hi, just wanted to know if anyone gives presents to their clients, or do you offer a voucher or discount for a treatment? Some clients are good spenders and it would be nice to say thankyou for their support. Any ideas? Oh and have a lovely christmas to everyone:green::)

hi hon why not give goodie bags to your clients.. happy christmas to you too xx

Ive given my favourite clients one of those minature boxes of Roses to say thankyou , and a minature size cuticle oil for being loyal.:hug:Just hope they got me something!!lol...

I have just given my long term clients a goody bag each i put a buffer small sloar oil file and polish and i have to say they loved them

I always do. It depends, the best ones get the best gifts like body care, vouchers for manis and pedis. The ok ones get something smaller like % off their next treatment and 5 to 10 euros vouchers.

Same here. My regulars get the above.:)

I usually do...small candle or little diary and pen.....but this year i have not. I have been meaning to break this for a few years now and at last i have. Its one of those things that once you start you feel you have to carry on doing it...and with more and more clients its costly....even something for a £1 (which is hard to do and make it look nice) at 40 clients is £40 !!!

My hairdresser...dentist don't get me anything for christmas...

Instead I make sure i look after my clients ALL year round....I do whatever i can to get them in...keep them on time and give the best service i possibly can.

when i bought products with my distributor i got three of those buckets with miniature scentsations. i have been giving those away to my customers. they were really happy and it didn´t cost me anything :)

i do.
last year it was a file and a sachet of hand mask.
this year its been a hand cream or a face mask or a glass candle holder with a christmas fragrance tealight.
i always add a sweetie of some kind, its a candy cane this year and i wrap in pretty bags and tissue to make them look a bit more special.

i do have a lot of regulars and the cost has been crepping up.
after xmas i'm gonna look for 1/2 price stuff. ive got my eye on some christmas tree shaped dishes in morrisons.

i look around for the bargains and plan ahead a bit and although the cost mounts up , it is only a tiny fraction of what they spend with me every 2 or 3 weeks. i always say a personal thankyou for their loyalty too.

I'm with Angie on this one.
I have previously given gifts to cients, but this year I have also decided not too, for the same reasons.
It's not phased any of my clients as far as I know & I have received some gifts from them.
It's like Angie says - my hairdresser does not give me anything, or my bank manager.
I think clients don't actually expect a gift - as when I have given them one in the past, if they had not one for me, they'd feel embarassed iykwim.
Then of course, there's the ones you have not bought a gift for and they turn up with one for you! Where do you draw the line?
This year I have had a bowl of seasonal sweets out for them to help themselves to.

I have given my top 10 clients a voucher for a service they dont usually have and a goody bag with solar oil n mini scentsations in to the rest. Its my first year so I dont mind but it'll prob be a discount voucher next year.
I like the idea of giving - I have a few bottles of wine that have been given to me already.

I always personalise gifts for my clients .... this year I did Oil.
I have access to a professional nail laboratory, went in last week and came up with this.
Clients are loving it.
