Hi could somebody please confirm to me whether if a client has a blood disorder and poor circulation in their hands whether this may cause lifting of gel nails?

Had a client in on Saturday for set of gels (not had them before only silk 3 yrs ago). She has a blood disorder affecting white blood cells and has poor circulation in her hands. She has also recently been ill with flu (not sure if could be relevant). Was advised that the gel may lift and if so should be in first 24 hrs.

She has rung this morning to say that one nail has come off and what she has described about remaining nails sounds as though they are lifting. She is coming in tomorrow evening to take a look and to advise.

Just wanted to check really if it could be her circulation causing the lifting before advise on further action as obviously if it is cannot re-do them as problem will only occur again

Thanks x

I had a similar problem with L&P with a client that had very similar conditions, I did't get a lot of feedback regarding this, so might not be a common thing? I was thinking that during polymerisation heat is a major factor, and so while the process may happen iof the clients hands are cold, the product might not adhere eto the nail plate as it normaly would?? not sure though, would love to hear anyone elses opinions on this also x ruth
