City and Guilds equivalent??

Hi i trained a trillion years ago and the 2 qualifications in those days where city andguilds or national diploma.
I did City and Guilds beauty therapy. I was just wandering as these arent mentioned now. What is todays equivalent level??
Can anybody help please?

Hi i have a diplomain health,saftey and employment standards and a city and guilds nvq in eye and facial treatment so i guess there are still qualifications with these, its just there are so many others also!

hi, I teach C&G and they are still going as strong has ever. On your certificate it should say if its a level 2 qual and also it will tell you what units you achieved in.
Sorry i didnt really understand your question but i hope this has helped in some way.

Forgot to add, it will depend on how many units you have completed as to say its you have a full level2 qual.

Hi thanks for replies.
Doesn't have a level on the certs.
But i past all the modules except electrolises theory.( cant even spell it. lol)
So have never done that. But there seems to be more stuff included on courses these days.
Mine was in 1993 for 2yrs. And covered all things at that time.
WHat do you think??xx

I think the best thing for you to do is to get intouch with C&G and explain your concerns re the qualification or you could look on the website for any info that may help you.
They should also be able to advise you if you are needing any addtional training to bring you up to what is in the qual at the mo.

Hi, no ibile on and off ( around having kids ) for a few years. Ive done additional stuff. Just be nice to know what level im at in line with modern qualifications. As im mobile i only do what treatments i want anyway, but would be interested to know. Thanks or the info. Think ill give them a ring.xx
