Clay canes

Hi, I just got some clay canes off ebay, but I'm not sure what to do with them!
How do you cut them?
How thin do you cut them?

Hiya

I rolled mine between my hand to warm them slightly, then using a one bladed razer sliced them as thin as I could, they bend slighlty when they are cut thin.

Lol ive also wasted quite a bit by trying to slice them too thinly and the razor slipping and only slicing half of the round off! But they arent expensive so not too worried. Im sure the more I do it the better I will get.

You havent wasted them by cutting half slices, the half slices can look just a good encased with a couple of full slices.
