I have just bought a clean & easy roller wax kit. It is second hand but in "as new" condition. Only problem is, there were no written instructions.

When you heat the unit do you put in on high and then turn the dial to the middle to keep the wax hot? I did try it earlier and it was kept on the high position and the wax didn't seem too hot. So, do you normally keep it on this setting for the whole time?

Thanks in advance. :)

Hi i have a clean and easy system is it the spa system where it has about 5 slots and they all stand upright, if it is i put mine on high for about 30 mins and it gets really hot i cant even hold the tubes then put it down to halfway

hope this helps

Thanks for that.

I did think that would be the best thing to do. It's good to know how long to let it heat for though, i.e. 30 mins.

I have special sleeve (holder) for the tubes which helps a lot.

Hi

i put mine on just over half way for about 40 mins and it's perfect. I only ever put it on high if i need it in a hurry.

The setting varies depends on what wax you use. I'd be very wary of putting it on full first just in case you forget to turn it down, then when you have a client in you will have to wait ages for it to cool down enough to be able to use it.

Why not get yourself a timer instead? That way it can be set to come on 25 mins or so before you arrive then if you have waxing 1st thing, it will be ready to go, without any risk of burning.

Thanks but i work from home so don't really need a timer.

I will just put is up full for say 15 mins and keep checking it, I will then keep it at the middle and if i feel the wax is cooling down i will turn it up again.
