Hiya,

Thinking to buy Clean & Easy Spa Kit and while doing a research on internet, I’ve read some people don’t like the Clean & Easy wax. They like the kit/roller method but not their wax and they are re-filling it with the one they like.

If any of you are using, which brand you use to refill and is it safe to do so.. And also if you are using Clean & Easy wax, which one you prefer. Please advise. Thank!

I'm one of those that use the C&E roller but not the wax. I use Satin Smooth Creme Wax with Echinacea & Comfrey which is really nice. It doesn't 'string' like some waxes do and has a pleasant smell.

Also it doesn't have rosin as the main base ingredient which gives some waxes that 'waxy' smell.

I just melt the pots in a normal wax heater then decant into the roller cartridges. Can be a bit messy though when you 1st start doing it.

I use the C&E roller system and refill with my preferred wax by heating the pots up in the microwave and pouring into the roller cartridges, I find this way easier and cleaner and I've done this for years with no problems. You don't need to worry about 'hot spots' with microwaving as you are refilling not heating up to wax a client. With practise you'll get the routine going so well you won't have any mess!

I've been using the Clean and Easy system for the last year but have just started using Perron Rigot's cartridge system. Blimey Charlie! What a difference! You use SO much less wax, the cartridge stays warm for an entire half leg, and you need about 1/3 the number of strips.
The C & E system is going in the loft!
