Hi Guys

Thought I would have a bit of an experiment over the weekend. I'm planning on doing a clear sculpt in gel with stars on the tips but I'm a bit unsure on which way to do it !

So plan so far is (using EzFlow)

Prep as usual

1. fine thin layer to help the gel move
2. first bead, to free edge
3. Cure 1 minute
4. fine layer on tip
5. put glitter/stars on
6. cure for one minute
7 second bead for apex
8 cure 3 minutes

mmmm dont know if I should put the glitter/stars on between point two and three

What do you think ?????????????????

We have a step-by-step demo on the NSI website for Cracked Ice that is similar to what you are attempting to create - You can find it in the "Nail Lab" under "Demos." Check it out. The think the steps would be identical.

Thanks Jessie

Having last nite removed my clear overlays with fruit canes in a most unorthodox wayIi realised you either want them embedded or not!
To embed put them in the 2nd layer of gel. Apply a thin base layer apply decals to tacky layer, cure 10 secs, apply builder layer as norm, buff and gloss. If like me you change your mind 5 days later :irked: then apply a clear sculpt in the normal fashion and place decals just under top coat.

yes I would put under builder layer. If you did between 2 and 3 you might find you get some 'spiking' where the stars go.
