Hi geeks

Just after your opinion on two things, one of my clients who has been coming to me since I opened (4 years ago) is getting married in September and me and my boyfriend have been invited to the wedding reception, and I have been invited to the hen night, what is your opinion on this? Would it be unprofessional of me to accept the invite to both, or should I decline the invite.
Both my mum and my boyfriend say it is not unprofessional to accept the invite to both as she my think of you as a friend.

Thanks

Kirsty

i think its personal opinion really but i would say go, be on your best behaviour, have fun but don't drink LOL, I think its lovely that she invited you. I have clients who i accept event invitations from but others i dont. I went to a cancer meeting with one of my clients, it was really interesting x

I rarely accept these invitations but I would always give them a lovely card with a cash gift inside.

I always ask to see the photos and discuss the occasion in detail at the next appointment following the wedding.

But it is a personal decision.

Hi Jacqui, how much cash gift are we talking about as I'm in the same situation with one of my clients too. Sorry Kirsty, I really can't advise you on this one. Funny enough, I thought about you earlier today as re-treatment swap.

I had a client that I'd done for years that invited me to her wedding and hen(sadly didn't make hen night) I went to wedding it was a great. I still do her nails and waxing, it's coming up to her 3th wedding anniversary. And did two of her wedding guest for a while after wedding x
