Hi everyone,

Just listening to a Phorest podcast talking about Client retention rates.
They're saying that a healthy industry standard should be 58%; being 30% for new Clients and 68% for existing Clients.

Does this sound anything like you're seeing? Be really interested to know!

many thanks
Andrew

Interesting! I think that's accurate across the industry? I think it could also depend on your area and the way you do your bookings.
Ours is at a comfortable 75%, usually 85% overall. Not sure the breakdown between New & Existing.

Blimey! 30% for new clients?? I rebook everyone, usually the only exception is spray tanning as they come for a one off special occasion and then I don’t see them til the next wedding or whatever.

Agreed. This is low when I look at our Salon Clients (we’re their accountant). 68% for existing clients seems pretty low.
