So my client sent me some pictures of her root regrowth. She said she’s naturally a dark blonde but “forgot” and wants her bleached ends to match her roots for a smooth transition in growing out hair.

im thinking she is a natural level 7, dark ashy blonde? But am I wrong.
I’m figuring out quite how I will do this! As her ends are compromised too!

The hair will look slightly darker as it looks dirty.
I think you're right to take the ends down to a level 7.
I'd definitely pre pig first especially as you say the hair is compromised. If I was to do this I'd probably use wella perfecton /3 to pre pig and then I'd go in with colour touch 6/71 + 8/7 1.9% or maybe 8/71 if you want a cooler result.
