One of my clients was 2 days over due today & booked in for a pedicure, bless her her feet were so swollen so gave her a longer than usual massage & half hr layer she texts me to say she had started having niggles & then 2 hours later to say she'd had her baby!! So pleased for her!! A little girl, Darcie xxx

It is actually a common reflex area on the foot during massage and especially Reflexology that should generally be avoided on a pregnant client as it can induce labour. (There are a few others on the body too but that relates more to massage).
I had a lady about 3 weeks from her due date and we avoided the areas and she asked me if it didn't arrive on time could she come back and have me work those areas on the foot! (Baby arrived bang on due date,so didn't have to do it)!
