Clip Nail Paster

Can someone please tell me what the point of this clip is & if you've ever mixed Harmony Polygel colours. Applied Polygel 2 weeks ago & it's lifting on 2 nails in cuticle area. Where did I go wrong? Also by mistake whilst being distracted by my grandson I accidentally put Polygel straight onto my natural nail without using Foundation first. Thought I would leave it like that & see how it would wear. So far it doesn't seem any worse than the rest of my nails?

The nail is being created with a Pop-It or nail mold, I assume to clip is to hold the mold in place whilst it's being cured in the lamp.

No matter what product you use, lifting at the cuticle is usually a prep issue.
