Hi there,

I know there are so many threads about training on here already, but I am so confused. I would love to become a qualified nail technician. I have been looking in to doing the CND 5 day foundation course but I believe that this is mainly to learn acryllic? I would really like to specialise more in natural nails - medi spa and pedi spa. I know CND do a one day course in this but don't feel that is enough as I have no prior background. I was thinking of maybe doing the manicure and pedicure course on Saturdays in LCBT in London and then doing some of the CND ones but everyone raves how the CND is the best.

Therefore, what I would really like to know is the 5 day foundation liquid and powder - does this give you enough training to do natural manicures and pedicures also? Or is it more if you want to specialise in Acrylic?

Thanks so much in advance:hug:

I have done CND's 5 Day foundation and it is aimed at those who want to do acrylics really it won't give you any knowledge of pedicure and only basic manicure, I have also done the natural nail days and really enjoyed them...because they are only 1 day courses practice is the key!

hi there, as said above the 5 day foundation course cover the basics to get you started in acrylics.
But creative also offer other 1 day courses in natural nails, natural pedicures which both go into more detail about natural nail care and then the creative spa which covers both hands and feet.
So you would be looking at 3 days all together not to mention they also offer one to one training if you felt you still wanted to learn more after or feel unsure about things.
Have you had a look at the sweet squared web site yet as they have all the details and description of what each course in-tails. Just click on foundation and scroll down.

hope this helps x
