I took some old-but-new/tossed aside and never used files into work with me today and i used the boomerang file which came in my file sample kit from my CND course and OMG what a fab file! I used it for a Shellac manicure, shaped the free edge with the 240 side and smoothed over free edge with the 1200 side. I could even use the 1200 side for oil buffing on a natural nail for my manicure ladies can i not? or does it have to be padded for the natural nail?
Anyway, where have they gone? They have disappeard off the face of the earth! I cannot find them in the new S2 catoloque or S2 website. I am so gutted!

Hi, the only thing I see on the CND website with those grits is the Koala Buffer. And the only Boomerang thing listed is a Boomerang padded file that is 180/180 grit.

Maybe the one you mention has been discontinued...

the one youre describing is the Koala not the Boomerang :D

There was a Boomerang Board that was a 240/1200 grit. I believe that it was discontinued as it basically did the same job as the Koala Buffer but cost more :)

The Boomerang Buffer is 180/180

I loved it and miss it, but after much therapy I got through it :D :D

Koala board is 240/1200 and I generally only use this for freshly applied product to remove scratch marks with the 240 grit the 1200 side is great for smoothing out after using the 240 side, I sometimes apply little solar oil and use the 1200 side to apply the oil. The 240 side of your koala is great to remopve shine for prep on natural nails one swipe north to south is all it takes.

The boomerang padded buffer is a 180/180 cushioned board, but is little more expensive, I just generally use my hotshots, new one for every rebalance though and then kept seperate for refining iygwim. Have you tried the outblack I love this file its a 100/180 great for rebalances.;)

I knew there was a Boomerang Board and i was not getting mixed up with the Koala or the boomerang buffer. I have the koala's already which i use for manicures, another great file but i want the board now and not the padded! Its so unfair! lol
I love the boomerang board and im never gonna throw this file away, im using it until its completly dead!
