Hey guys!

i'm going to book on a CND Conversion course and i''ve read that you get a CND starter kit with it but i cant find anywhere that says whats included in the kit. Has anyone been on the conversion course? and what did you think??

I know you get the retention l & p but not sure what else. I am thinking of doing this myself but wondered if you have to have prior training in pink and whites, ie doing smiles with the white ? I have only done a basic acrylic course and dont want to look stupid if i go ?

Just had a look in their catalogue for you, the starter kit has
Retention + liquid
perfect white powder
perfect pink powder
scrubfresh
solar oil
1 nail enamel
some forms
cant see any on the picture but you will probably get some tips too hth

Nail addict CND like you to have 6 months experience of doing nails, it does not matter if you have not trained to do the whites, they will help you with that on the day,
hope that helps you both

Hi ,
Ive just recently done my conversion, if I remember rightly the kit contained Retention liquid, clear, white and pink powder sample of Moxie liquid, acid free primer, selection of files , pro styler brush ,cuticle away, scrub fresh, speed and gel bond, performance forms velocity tips, solar oil and a sample of Radical liquid, couple of plastic dappen dishes and eye dropper.

Was well pleased with the kit, and so happy to be now converted .HTH.

I recently did the creative conversion and was more than happy with what I recieved in the kit and with the training. The kit is worth a lot more money than the training (approx £190) and you can do up to 20 full sets.

Like you before the coversion I hadn't done any training with smile lines, its a good day you'll learn loads and you'll enjoy too :)

anne xx

Things have changed quite a bit since you did your conversion,
the official distributors and trainers are now S2 not the lame company that ran it before and i can assure you that training with CND now run by S2 is definitely worth its while, as can a lot of other geeks on this site,
the training has always been top notch and is even better now, hth

Absolutely Loubylou!

Tweeboo, the kit will have absolutely everything you need, apart from your prep tools, such as a cuticle pusher, scissors, tip cutters. These aren't too expensive at all and S2 will have everything you need to buy if you don't have it alrady. As you're going on the conversion course, I'm presuming you won't need any additional outlay as you will probably have these anyway (at least until you see all the goodies available and decide you can't live without!) xx

Ooh, now hang on...........The training supplied by S2 as you say is top notch, but to say that it was a lame company before.....:irked:

I did all off my training up to Grand Master with THG, it was headed by Samuel and then Samantha I believe and was always outstanding. If I were to do more training now (which, I did recently at the Event) then the same fantastic lady who taught me before would still teach me now.

I know that things went wrong for THG, but it was IMHO never ever anything to do with the Education or the Ambassadors who were always fantastic, Sam wouldn't have let them do the job if they weren't.

OK let me make it perfectly clear,
i am and always have been happy with the training, with Gigi, with Sam and with Samuel,
it is not these people that i am referring too,
it is the people that were running things before and run it to the ground, causing it to go into liquidation that i was calling lame and i stand by this, there were lame but they did do us all big favour in the long run as it is now in the hands of people that are more than competent to run the business the right way,
CND is the best training that anyone could ask for and if you read any of my previous posts you will see that i always have good things to say about CND

Sorry, just clarifying my post. I didn't mean to cause any upset and if I did, then I apologise.

I never had anything to do with Creative/CND before I did my conversion at the start of the summer this year, so I'm not commenting on the problems there have been in the past, although I knew of them. I was just agreeing that the training I have had was top notch. I've done quite a number of CND courses now, including attending the wonderful Event and have thouroughly enjoyed them and learned so much. I should have perhaps quoted what I was referring to and that would have clarified things
