Hi I wounder how you use CND Performance tips. I bought them when they just came to the market and I was at a training evning with the distrubutor here but she strugglet to show me how to use them. She said that you have to glue them in line with the free edge of the natural nail and you have to shape the free edge in the same shape as the line of the tip. And the tip has very deep curve. So I have never uset my tips becauce after what she said then the natural nail have to be quite long to put on the performance tip, and here if the customer comes in with so long nails they just want overlays on them. But I se here that many of you love to work with them. :green:

Aren't performance tips, the well less tips that need no blending

I use them and haven't had any problems fitting them at all.

The client doesn't have to have length to have these.

The point of these been well less is so that you can place them onto the nail where you want them,
you can place them right at the edge of the free edge but it is not set in stone,
try using them by placing them as you would any other tip and see how you get on hth

You need a bit of free edge for performance tips, even if it's just a tiny bit, so they are not suitable for nail biters, and like Lou said, you can place them where fits best. I find it best right at the end of the natural nail, although I read on another thread that if you are applying to a picker, you can place the tip lower down because if they pick the adhesive off its not as damaging as picking the product off (cant remember which thread I saw it on though!)

You can place Performance tips where you want on the nail. You need to use Speedbond though, as the tip is so flexible, you want a fast adhersion to avoid the tip moving on the nail.

Ok thank you. I will give them a try once again
