CND Shellac - The shelf sitters

I personally don't like the effect that Moonlight and Roses gives over the stronger base colours, but I absolutely love it over Cityscape or as a french.
I think I have only ever had one client go for one of the layering combos using M&R over a stronge colour.

I have all my shellac on colour pops so if a client is after a particular layering combo or slightly different colour I take the colour pop that has the first colour on and add a small amount of the second to it. Client sees how the combo looks and it's easy to remove with d'sperse.

This is what I do a lot of the time too if I don't already have a pop made up. If its then one I like I will do a pop for it once client has gone.

moonlight and roses is one of my most popular colours! clients love it on its own, as the pink for french with a twist or layered over just about anything!!

my shelf sitters are blues, waterpark and azure wish...i can normally shift any colour by wearing it myself somehow but i just dont fancy the blues...maybe ill use them on my toes!!!

The green gold additive or irresistible glitter in Capri look gorgeous over both of these as does iced coral xx

Cocoa should not be a sitter!! With Moonlight & Roses it is just gorgeous and once I discovered that combination, my Cocoa was no longer a sitter!

If your Azure Wish is a sitter, layered with Iced Coral is very nice for those looking for something a little different.

OMG! I totally agree, layered Grapefruit Sparkle over Cocoa was a hit today

Cocoa with grapefruit sparkle is my favourite at the moment. It's a really stunning nude. I obviously don't wear colour on my nails. So when I think a colour has been there a while, try different things. Find something you like and be excited about it when telling a client. You'll find it's no longer sitting there! X

Isn't it funny that people are so different, I use gallons of it, its also my best Vinylux seller!

Mine are the nudes & Cityscape, nobody wants them "too boring" they say. I'm going to try some of the laying options though, very happy to layer but think I need to do more with these particular ones.

Ok I'm sat going through all the pics on my phone and here are some of the layering options I've mentioned previously on this thread.

Cityscape and iced coral
Iced cappuccino and beau with silver holographic glitter fade.
Gotcha with iced coral on one of my nail biters.
Tropix and iced coral, again on my nail biter.
Ring finger waterpark with green gold sparkle additive.

I'm in the process of doing every layering option possible at the moment so far I've layered every shellac colour over: azure wish, water park, hotski, midnight swim, lilac longing and purple purple, I thought it wouldn't take long but it's taken forever to do just those lol I don't have a lot of time so think it will take a year before I get anywhere lol!!
