Cobalt blue outfit what colour varnish?

Hi all
I have a cobalt blue dress for an occasion but not too sure what colour varnish to wear on my toes? My sis says a cobalt blue the same, so I have found a barry M one that is glittered, its kinda nice but is it weird to wear that on your toes, only big toe and one next to it will be seen as wearing peeptoes. Keeping my fingernails plain pink and whites.
Suggestions have been fushia, but sis is wearing that colour and doesnt want me wearing the same!?! Also a bright red?

Gold MINX .. will look classy and fab with cobalt blue. On your nails as well. Or silver if you prefer with your jewellery.

Just got the shoes today, they are Kurt Geiger black peeptoe slingback stilletos u see a tiny bit of gold at the hidden platform bit on the front, apart from that they are black. Gold does sound nice, but not too sure its really my colour but would look good as shoes have that tiny bit of gold in them.

i have just bought exactly the same shoes as you! lol. to wear with blue dress. i am wearing gold with black fishnet minx with mine as gold looks fabulous with blue. and will pick out gold in shoes. that would be my recommendationx x

Sounds fab! Geeg suggested the Minx, but not too sure if I could find a salon near me that offers it? Not heard of it around Northampton? I know what the product is and it sounds great. Fab shoes tho arent they!
Only thing with the gold is as Geeg said perhaps go with silver as my jewellery is silver coloured I prefer that to gold.
Failing the minx has anyone heard of a silver or gold coloured nail varnish...prefer silver tho cos dress also has silver zip. Perhaps Barry M??? I have seen today they do a few colours but didnt look for silver.

maybe give S2 a call in the morning and get them to check out a salon near to you.

I find gold polishes can look pretty good but I've never found a silver that really is a silver .. most look grey --- but if you ask on here you usually come across someone who knows ...

or have some glitter toes in silver done. They look amazing in silver. If they are not going to look blingey then its not worth doing. :lol:

Totally agree with you there Geeg and & I do love a bit of bling!!!
Thanks for the advice, maybe worth a call to S2 tomo, maybe there is a salon that offers the Minx service nearby.

I have an AMAZING silver polish! It is by Collection 2000 "Maxiflex" and is colour 248, Inca Silver.

It really does look like silver and is very metallic

Call S2. After seeing the new colour collection today, I doubt it very much that you WONT find a colour to match...!!

You can even choose your 'grade' of bling. :lol:

It is a cheapy one Geeg from Boots - got to say though it is not too bad. I dd my neghbours toes with it and nearly 2 weeks on, no chips or anything and looks as good as new

Been out today and bought 3 varnishes. 2 blue and the Silver which was suggested. Silver is fab, but I have chosen the blue, its just a cheapy one but its just for toenails, only 2 are showing after all. The blue is a dark blue more like a navy collection 2000, shade 329 Electric punk. Goes very well with my outfit, and the other varnishes wont go to waste a girl can never have too many.... Nail polishes, shoes, handbags, jewellery ITS THE LAW!!!
