Wasnt sure where to post this so feel free to shift it at any time:lol:

With my business being well lets just say dead just now I was thinking of going to evening classes at my local collage (45 miles 90 round trip local!) to do some classes once a week which I will also get funding for from ILA Scotland up to £200 a year.

They don't have many running just now but have an Indian Head Massage Course starting on the 24th of April until the 19th of June.

I just wondered if those who do Indian Head Massages think it is worth doing the training is it a service which is busy?
And do you think this is a long enough course to be able to start straight away?

I would be grateful for all your input:hug:

This is very much my personal opinion but I don't think IHM is going to attract any more bums on seats than you have already. Look at doing something that is more a "bread and butter" type treatment such as waxing and eyebrow tints.
... oh and get and do that spray tan training we talked about!!!

My husband is qualified to do IHM and he hardly ever does any, though he does really enjoy doing it! He felt ready for paying clients after the course, it was fairly intense...he did the VTCT one and I think it was 16 weeks long....

Hiya!

I am assuming you are talking about the couse in aberdeen? I myself registered to do it online just a few weeks ago (after accepting my card details and information) i then got a a letter in the post to advise me that the course was full :irked:

I did contact the college by telephone who advised that they would not know the dates of the next block of courses until the new prospectus came out (iam sure she said sept).

I wanted to do it for interest more than anything and found a course in glasgow that is a full days training - but its not ila funded! And i am not quite sure you would get all the information on a days course?? But it looks good its at the caledonian therapy academy in glasgow - if you fancy having a look all details are on their website.

Hope this is of some help xx
