Hi,
I have my college interview at a specialised hair and beauty academy on Tuesday! I really want to get on this course at this particular college as the class sizes are only 12-14 students and the only other college in my area has class sizes of upto 30!

Im nervous as hell, not sure what they are going to ask me at all and any help would be appreciated. I have researched the academy itself but just wondered if anyone could help me on the following points;

1. What questions they may ask me.
2. What questions I should be asking them.
3. What I should take with me.
4. What to wear!

I should point out I'm heavily pregnant (5 days overdue today!) therefore I was going to war a plain black shift dress with leggings and black pumps, my black trousers do not fit anymore and my maternity clothes are all a bit casual!

Sorry for the long post i'm a bag of nerves!!!!

Thanks :o

it's not a fashion show so relax! :D as long as you look (and smell!) clean, smart and presentable then there will be nothing to worry about appearance wise. honestly.

everything will be friendly and informal, no demanding questions or anything like that. they just want to meet you and get a feel for you and what you want to do. obviously it wont hurt to have an idea of what you'd like to get from the course and how you would like to progress from it as that way you could find out if the course will help you to achieve what you want to achieve, so as not to waste your time or the place on the course. something you might want to ask about is the cost of a uniform and kit and where to purchase them from so that you can plan in advance for if you get accepted on the course. you will of just had your little one who will take up all your time (if the baby doesn't then the washing will if the sleep doesn't get you first haha) so it might be an idea to think about finances and where you can buy things from in advance incase you are accepted on the course, so that it isn't a big mad rush with a new baby to get everything in order.

good luck with both the interview and your little jelliebean! x

I'm sure,as it's level 2, they won't be asking anything too specific. They just want to get a feel for you and your personality. If you can show your enthusiasm for the industry and that this is something you really want to do, it will go a long way.

All the best with the interview and with your new baby!
