hi do any of you geeks use collin skin care products if so how would you rate them is the support from them good and what are their start up fees

I don't use them but i have recently had some samples from them and they are very nice products,
feel great on the skin and packaging looks great too,
i have had a few follow up calls from them and they seem really nice,
the start up cost is £2000 though so i wont be adding them to my range

i tried some samples i got from pb north and they made my skin feel amazing and looked really good too but again the start up cost is too much. i would love to use their products i just cant afford to use them

they are doing 2 offers , 1 is a lower start up, £1k, the other is buy enough of everything you need to do 1 facial . You pay £500 now, in 3 months you either take the rest on or give back what evers unused and get your money back. i tried it and thought it was great. howeverim totally skint plus they are based in mainland and im in northern ireland so i need something more local for training. you can but a scanner which actallu magnifies your skin and tells you the poresize, hydration levels etc so you can prove the results. brill range and wish it was more widely known.

Do you need Collin training?

I use Collin (professionally and personally) and really like the products. They smell beautiful and the moment you start using them you can feel the quality in the product. And, they work.

The start up costs are high but when I bought my start up you could spread the cost over several months - it is always worth asking if they would be prepared to spread the cost.

The training is free - intensive but absolutely first class. Support is fantastic from your direct manager and from the girls in the office. They also have a very nice lady who is permanently "on the road" who will come into your salon/treatment room. It is all ultra professional and quality all the way.

One huge plus point is that Collin don't put salons/therapists in a position where they are in direct competition with another Collin representative, so you won't find their products on every street corner and you won't find their products on ebay either. Collin is exclusive to professional therapists. I know that the start up costs are high but I spoke to another very well known company and their costs weren't that much different only difference being you will find this other company is on just about every other street corner - one girl I did a nail course with told me that where she lives the public actually ask her for a discount on this parrticular company's products because they are everywhere. If she doesn't discount them they will go elsewhere.

I hope this helps. Please feel free to PM if I can be of further help. BTW, I don't work for Collin, just love their products.:)

PS: I bought the SkinScope - what a fantastic piece of kit. Backs up skin analysis and ensures that the client gets the correct treatment and if they buy retail from you, that they get the right stuff. They are fascinated to see their skin through the scope and are assured that they are getting the right treatment which they also love.

Can the Collin range be used by mobile therapists? It sounds very good.

Unfortunately, I don't know. I have a treatment room at home but do some mobile appointments too. I would ring up and check. What I will say is that Collin has a treatment pricing guide that they expect you use. I charge the same for mobile appointments as I do treatment room appointments, would you client base be happy with that. The lowest price I charge for a facial is £30.00, as per Collin price list.

I would get in touch with them. I am a new business, sole trader and they took me on without a qualm. You can only ask.

Collin products are really good - you'll get great results for near enough every skin type. Customer service and the marketing is very professional - The only down side for smaller home based and mobile therapists is that they cost a little more and the start up is a little high (however very worth it) . I really like there classic packaging.
