Hi so I have a client that has been box colour her hair and it's turned out really dark at the moment it's probably round a base 2 with some warmth in she has coloured it 3 times her self from bleach blonde she's wanting to achieve a base 9 some thing that looks natural I use the colour brand NXT I was thinking to use there colour remover probably have to do it twice but then I am stuck on how to achieve the base 9 any suggestions please im not the most confident in colour corrections so any help would be appreciated thanks in advance x

Do some strand tests first because you never know what rubbish people have put on their hair.
If you use a colour reducer to remove box dye build up, be prepared for it to take 2 to 3 goes to remove most of it and you’ll probably still need to use bleach to lift it to a 9 before toning.

If you’re not confident with colour removers, read this first to remind you of the process.
