Colour help!

Hi guys, Im looking for some advice.. I'm doing a ladies hair I've not done before. She has grey roots half way down her hair & the ends are a strawberry blonde (bobbed hair) she's wanting to go my sort of colour which is between a 7-8 shade so I was thinking of using 88/0 with 0/33 with 6%... 1stly do you think this will be ok & 2ndly what ratio should I use? Are you looking to create an 8/03 or 8/3?

For every 30g 88/0 I'd use 1g 0/33
