Colour help..

Hi,
i'd really appriciate some advice on colouring..i havent got a clue when it comes to hair!
i went to have it coloured the other day as the colour i've been using at home was a medium brown that faded to red as it washed out so i wanted rid of the red without going darker...i left the salon with nearly black hair and i hate it, i just wonderd if theres anyway of lightening it or if i just need to keep washing it?

Go back to the salon that did it!!! l wouldnt recommend trying to lighten it yourself. lt will fade a little over the next few weeks but if you really hate it you should complain and get it done professionally.If you've been colouring it yourself there will be a build up of colour which would probably explain why its gone so dark....good luck l hope you get it sorted!!!!
