Coloured rebalance over white?

hi there i have just done a rebalance but changed the colour from white tips done with forms to the red, the finished result was ok but the white showed at the edges and end which spoiled the result, should i have done it another way i filed as much of the white as i dared! i didnt want to do a soak off and complete new set, is this the only way? :o

maybe by taking the length down just a tad more,so that when you were applying your colour it came slightly over the leftover white (kind of capping it ) that way no white would show hth x

Did you extend the nail bed? If you did and you sculpted the white originally what you can do is clip it off starting at the ears of the smile line and it should just come away then file to shape and resculpt the red free edge. No filing then and a much better finish x
