I've had the last year off nails, due to mobility and surgery, and i probably will need another year off yet, as i need a total hip replacement, before i can comfortably do nails again. But i do miss it, and i worry that i have lost my touch?? Or is it like riding a bike, and you don't forget?? I was hoping to go to the NEC (to check out products and techniques that i may have missed) but, is it true that you can't go with say your partner (as they aren't in the trade) as i can't drive, so i would need my hubby to take me, and help me round in crutches.
I've also invested in some pop its, and i'd love to hear what mobile techs think of these for their business, as i'm hoping when i get myself out there again, these would greatly improve times, and filing etc.....:green:

I would advise that when you are ready to come back into the industry, that you do a 1 to 1 with your chosen provider. Products and techniques change so much in a short space of time.

I think i will, as this is what i was afraid off to be honest. I knew that just from me being in college to then working in a salon, things progressed so fast. It's such an exciting business to be in, i wish i could hurry up and be mobile (hips)enough to get back now, as i'm having withdrawl symptoms.

What are the current prices of the conversion courses for CND? Thinking about trying EzFlow and Young nails too, so will need to do conversions for them too. I bought the pop its but haven't tried them yet!! Looking in the tutorials to brush up skills too xx:green:

Give Sweet Squared (CND distributors) a call on 08452106060 and ask them about prices. You can also take a look at www.sweetsquared.com to see what CND courses entail. HTH
