does anyone know of any companies that deliver couches? I would like to buy a second hand one but dont want to be goverened by my area so if i seen one for sale in Scotland or London for example, is there a company that will courier it for you? I have looked on ebay and most of the couriers specifiy up to about 30kg and even if its over they usually state no furniture. the couch that i want is hydraulic and weighs about 60kg. is there any companies out there that do this?

Probably but it will NOT be cheap - anything over 30kg needs specialist lifting equipment due to health and safety so most couriers won't transport in a van but will insist on lorry and forklift either end.
Look for Shiply - I can't comment on what their service is like but they definitely do large items including furniture - I'd guess it depends on where you're buying from and delivering to but you're probably not going to pay less than £50 at a guess...

try anyvan.com they are a courier online service where you post a job and couriers bid for your job like ebay! It's competitive and you can say where pick up and delivery is and any details. I used it when I shopped for a display cabinet last year on ebay and it was over 60 miles away! I also recommended it to a friend who moved recently and she saved loads of £. You can read reviews on the various couriers so you can choose who you think is best -cheapest/most ratings etc. Happy shopping! I'm about to buy my first beauty couch too so I may use them if the company doesn't deliver.
