Morning everyone,

some people may have heared of the world skills comp well i competed in the last comp in Blackpool for the level 3 advanced comp and i came 2nd which i was thrilled with considering this was my 1st ever competition.

However i am through to the Uk final and i would really appreciate some helpful tips......please

is it French? nail art? L&P? Gel?

when is it?

It is sculpting L&P french and buffing one hand to a high shine and to polish the other with a creme red colour polish

i HAVEN'T HEARD OF THIS COMP BEFORE. wHO RUNS /ORGANISES IT? iS IT OPEN TO EVERYONE? wHAT SORT OF ADVICE ARE YOU AFTER? Whoops, sorry, didn't mean to shout!
Lots of geeks on here who compete so if you ask specific questions someon will be able to help! XX

Is it tips on the actual competition or the product you are doing (ie: L+P)

As I competed in blackpool wintergardens and came first and went to nationals, but it was for Nail Art, so if I can help in any way just let me know (I am only level 2 though - dont know how to do L+P etc yet!)

GOOD LUCK XXX

Who is backing/running this competition?? Why is it that the 'normal' bodies who run the UK comps haven't heard of it. Does it carry any weight at all?

well practice is my best advice...
second best: find a damn model with greaaaaaaaaaaat looking nails/hands, for once it's not a client, it's YOUR choice and it's important.
what else that you wouldn't know...

break the edges of your files or take a used one
