computer wizz needed

hi all, is there any comp wizards here today, i went out last night and had a few bevveys and logged on to geek to catch up and i dont know what i have pressed because this morning when i look i have a 13 inch screen but a 10 inch pic in the middle of it with black around the edges ???? ( and a bad head!) any help would be great x

Try right clicking on a blank part of the desktop, go down to properties, go to settings, and move the slider bar to the left (I think), click apply and if it looks ok then click "ok" or "accept" (can't remember what it does say, but it is obvious), if not click "no". Try this and see. Hope it works for you.

If the above doesn't work, you could try a 'system restore' where you set your computer back to an earlier time, so it would go back to what it was like say 2 days ago.
Click 'start' then 'all programs' then 'accessories' then 'system tools' then 'system restore'
I find it great to re-set anything I've bodged up & dont know how to correct lol.
