Hi everyone.
i'm really confused now!! origanally this thread was to ask for advice on an alternative after tan moisturiser for my less well off clients, i usually recommend siennax moisturiser but some clients are single mum's on a budget so i would like advice on that but also i've just read a thread about pre tan prep and not to use the likes of dove??? I know about the new range of doves because the have the extra oils and even stay clear of the radox's. For my less well off clients which supermarket brands would you suggest. I SO CONFUSED??????

If my clients ask which soap to use to pre wash, I suggest, asda's own basic bog standard bar of soap, they come in a pack of three for 13p I think it is. They have nothing added to them like moisturisers so are perfect.hth.xx

I've read on here somewhere (ages ago) that someone reccommends Aqueous cream which costs something like a few quid for a big tub. I think it might have been Tonilee's suggestion.

I sell soap at my salon that i recommend.
I always tell me clients to use E45 cream. They don't need to spend a fortune! It does the same job as the so called fancy moisturizers.
I think i should start stocking E45 cream :)

does E45 not contain any oils then? I have been looking for a cheaper alternative for ages, last bottle of sienna oil free cost me £12 and thats trade! and also they have made the bottle smaller not impressed lol xx

I've been to Sallys Salon Services today and bought a bottle of the tantruth smoothing spray to try.....the retail price is 9.99 for 200ml, the trade price is obviously less than this, they also do a smoothing scrub retail price 5.99 for 70ml.

I'm not sure how much this compares to other companies, as tbh I haven't had a good look around. but saw this today and thought it was a reasonable price (trade) for me to give it a go.

Lou xx

Thanks to everyone for their great suggestions.
