hi everyone,

I have purchased a hive dual wax heater and or nachre blank (if that's how you spell it) and also per hot wax.....when I purchased the heater it said that it was suitable for all wax types including paraffin wax.

I am confused as some people have said you cannot heat paraffin wax in a wax heater and you need a paraffin heater????

When I was training the tutor heated the paraffin up in a wax heater!

If you are able to heat it in the hive dual heater then what temp is best?

Thank you

Lauren

I've never tried it but I don't see why not. I think you would need to keep the temperature quite low. I would try, test and adjust until you find one that suits you.

My paraffin heater didn't show a temp xx

Paraffin heaters are designed to be low heat continuously. Just get one. they aren't expensive, and you won't burn anyone.

ETA who told you it was ok for paraffin?
