Does monomer cause product to go yellow tinged if contaminated?

I have wiped my brush and am not getting any yellow on the pads, yet when I set a white bead onto the pad it gets a yellow tinge to it.

The monomer is from a larger bottle, I decant into a smaller bottle using a pipette to travel with (could this have contaminated it?).
I bought it a year ago now but only opened the large bottle about 6 months ago and have not done many enhancements since as I've been off work.
Its been stored in a cool, dark cupboard.

Does it sound like my monomer? Or is it still more likely to be my brush?

Thankyou

probably the brush i think

Have you tired using another brush to see if it's doing the same thing? x

no, I've only got that one and a couple of art brushes, I'm ordering a new one this morning and some new monomer just in case.
