hmmmmmm, just been talking to my landlady of 3 years and she remarked on all of the equipment and stock I had, and then asked if I was insured. I said that I had always assumed that it would be covered under her insurance.
Anyhow, she rang them to check and no, its not covered. (call me naive!).

So, how much is content insurance? I have no idea!!! Just pleased that I've got through 3 years without having a break-in.

Appreciate any advice.

Try salon saver....through salon gold.....ive just got a great deal x

Do you have a seperate entrance ?

Did she definetly call them ?

I remember reading an article a few years ago that covered insurance and all the therapist needed was personal insurance. If any stock was stolen from a break in or say a client banged there head on a shelf or something it would actually be the salon insurance that covered this.

The salon I rented in had a break in last year and a couple of my things were taken and the salon owner claimed them back on her insurance.

The Guild can offer Stock & Equipment cover as an extension to your existing insurance.

To start with, try and work out an approximate value for all of your kit, as this will affect any policy you take out.

every insurance i rang stated the front door entrance had to have a dead lock on it as It's not my premises i had no idea if it had it or not
