Hi looking for advice on achieving an ashy ombré/balayage. Friend/client is about a 6/7 natural base, lots of underlying warmth, 20/30% white. I pre lighten mid lengths/ends then tone with Wella 10/6 and xp P02. Lovely Toner but can’t seem to find one that works for this client! Still too much warmth. Any suggestions?

Before you toned with 10/6 what level was the hair lifted to?

I'd say get the hair to a nice level 9/10. I don't use Wella but I love using goldwells 8sb + 10v. I adjust the ratio depending on how much warmth is left in the hair. But it always works a dream
