Hi all

Know I shall probably get today's "stupid question award" but can someone please clarify the difference (if any) between infills, rebalance and backfills. Someone asked me the other day as different people seem to call them different things and I didn't know the answer. I have to confess I only ever refer to them as infills.

This is how I understand it:

Infills - filling in at the cuticle only
Rebalance - restructuring the entire nail and ensuring the nail is inbalance with the stress area in the correct place.
Backfill (french) - replacing the white smile line in line with the now grown out natural smile line.

Hope this helps.

Basically its the marketing speak of the different manufacturers.

Well it certainly is all the same with the products I can speak for.

Any work done encompasses filling in and re-balancing all in one.

Basically its how "posh" do you want your price menu to sound.

We charge £40 to £50 and do re-balances......

Down the road do infills for £15.00.:)

Just to add my 2 cents...

CND uses the terminology of a rebalance as it can distinguish your service and be far more descriptive as Fiona made mention to. So in essence, NAG is spot on.

You can't say that....its just not on....

Waht's your game ( mistypes in abject panic)

ties keyboard cord round neck.....then realises its cordless.....!!!

You can't humble me like that in public....

take it back, that is sooooo unfair.....:)

now then NAG calm down you see what happens when your nice????
people LISTEN.............

now holding cute little brown bear slightly battered and pats himself on head whilst simpering.....

crikey what 'ave I started here - thought it was an innocent enough question ...never meant for there to be bloodshed...!!
