Cosmetic Procedures

Hi,
I am looking to start up teeth whitening, semi permenant make-up and botox/fillers etc clinics in my salon. I had contact with a company who are not very helpful when I try to book clients in :irked: (there is to much phoning back and forth to them then the client etc).

Does anyone know of a reliable reputable company or professional who could work with me to get this side of my business up and running.

We are in Aberdeen so I guess it may be better to have someone local.

Please any help?

Hi

You can get messed around a lot. Despite what you have heard especially from the nurse who writes on all these forums, anyone can legally give an injection; including botox, as long as they are directed to do so by a dentist, doctor or nurse prescriber. ~this comes from the government. Why don't you train to do this yourself that way you won't have to use any other company and you would work with a medical person to ensure you practice legally.

Oh and you'll get to keep 100% of the profits too!

I don't agree with this.

As far as I know, this is a massively risky procedure, depending on qualification.

My personal thoughts are I wouldn't let anyone other than a doctor do anything like Botox on me. Bear in mind, your clients may also have this feeling.

As 'the nurse' who writes on these forums - my main concern is for the patients I treat. Always has, and will be. I really am appauled at some of the comments on here by the few 'professionals' who seek to justify non-medically trained individuals offering injectable cosmetic procedures (and promote their training company/courses). Quite staggering.

The reason I comment on 'botox' threads is because it is my profession - and therefore my area of practice and knowledge. It is for this reason I do not comment on threads such as waxing for instance! It is nothing to do with trying to be 'clever'! Self explanatory really!

I will leave you all to have your debates on this forum. And wish you all the brightest of futures and best of luck X

I totally agree with this post I have botox done under my arms and would only have this done my a medically trained person I actually go to the local hospital to have it done
