Have you ever brought something before, and not realised till months down the line that it does something you didnt know?

I brought a daylight portable lamp,I dont know must be a year ago,now I keep having problems with me keep banging my head on it and I tend to move it out the way..then cant see what Im doing , move it back keep banging my head on it...etc etc...

Wasnt until YESTERDAY as I was doing mums nails , she said to me..doesnt it lift up..I dont know I said, so tried ..dur so it does, I could not get over the fact Id had it all this time, smacking me head against it and not realising the top of it lifted up.OMG how silly am I ?

we've all done things like that!

LOL all the time:eek:

Well I've had mine 2.5 years and I didn't know that either lmao!!! :green:

I'd been through 3 Dysons before i realised you had to clean the filters..

Yup, been there, done something JUST as silly.

Just goes to show, we don't know it all, aye?

LOL sounds like something my mother would do ;)

I had been using them tetley tea bags that have the drawstrings, for ages,
I was complaining to my little sister one day how they were stupid, as when I stirred the brew
the tea bag strings got all tied up with the spoon...

She then came over...called me a nob ! and showed me how you dunk , then split the perforated paper bit at the top and pull...voila !!!!!!

I have a fab wee lamp from Argos (c£14) which I used in the comps and a lot of people mistook for a Daylight Lamp. During the first comp, the lamp was really in the way and I ducked my models hands out of the way of the bulb part all through the comp. It wasn't until I did the comp yesterday that it crossed my mind to adjust the lamp as neccessary. I couldn't believe I had been so dim!

 hilarious , emms i dint know you could do that with the tea bags either  i stopped using em coz the got all tangled in the spoon , lmao xxx

:green: see I do have my uses !!!

Most of all I think my "dim" moments, are things I say not things I do,..
I suppose I am a bit of a "jade goody"

Sheryl (grafxgal) found it very amusing when I once asked her if they had the krypton factor in austrailia,
She said "well I live in new zealand" I was like " duh..yeah...well answer me then"

How was I to know they were totally different places

I do say lots of things, that I dont think are silly or funny...but I seem to keep others amused...
don't I rach !!...rock on jimmy, tommy !!! whoever it was !!!
