This is the first time I used crazy colour. I am dark drown so I have lifted my hair a lot to get this colour on...I washed my hair with head and shoulders after lifting and didn't condition...I applied to towel dam hair.
I'm impressed with results for first time use though when combing it threw it emulsified and was very diffrent and at this point I wasn't convinced it was going to take very well at all at this stage as you could still see a lot of blonde hair coming threw.
I have DIY ed it after spending £120 at my hair dresses for her to not even get close to the colour results I wanted despite sending her numerous pictures of the exact shade i wanted and she said the only way I was going to do it is if I used semi perminent and did it myself...but then I see on here that she could of quite easily done this for me and more likely didn't want to.
I have 2 things I need help with now as I'm not in a hair profession and my friend who did train in hair but no longer is a hsirdresser, who helped me do it and is much better than me is at a loss too, as she hasn't used crazy colour before and uses directions on her own hair.
The results are a very blue purple and it's almost too blue I knew it was more blue than what I wanted but didn't want to start mixing colour with out trying the standard bottle colour first...I woundered how I could correct this with another colour, pink or a more red purple...should I now stick with crazy colour or should I try directions which my friend prefers? I hear directions have better shades of purple too?
My all over lift worked very well but was by no means 100% even as I have sooooo much thick long dark hair...In the front of my hair I think it's not taken well as I have some almost purple blue gray areas...is this because it hasn't taken well here maybe something to do with washing it in waxy head and shoulders? I still have some hot purple left I can apply to these areas...but do I do that before trying to colour correct with a diffrent colour?...I'm not sure how to progress?
Can any one give me some advice please it will be much appreciated!

Also if I want to lift the areas of my hair where lift was noticably darker in say a month or so do I need to strip all colour out first even if I'm going back same colour (when I eventually get it right) and I was just going to rebleach this areas of hair to lift like doing half head of highlights?
Thanks in advance.

Where to start?

Don't wash your hair in head and shoulders. You may as well use washing up liquid! It's not good for your hair and if your hairdresser recommended it, go and find a new competent hairdresser who has more sense.

Don't try to bleach your hair at home, especially as it's a thick density. It will end up a mucky green colour in parts, patchy and you're likely to compromise the condition. Treat yourself to a visit to a good colourist who knows what they're doing.

I have purple hair most of the time. Crazy colour is ok for occasional top ups but I wouldn't bother with it myself. Directions, Manic Panic, Splat etc. are all good brands for using at home to top up your colour, but you risk staining both your skin and hair permanently, if you do it yourself so ask a hairdresser buddy to help. Always use a barrier cream.

Thank you. Yes I have to agree with you re finding a new hairdresser as my friend who helped who's trained in hair said my hair was not straight in its cut...
In regards to treating myself to a colour specialist it will have to wait for a while as forking out £120 for my hair doing originally when I asked for it bright purple in the first place has emptied all my treat money out unfortunatly.
My friend who's trained in hair brought her salon profesional poroxide and did my hair...I agree it's not even but as far as going green I think I've avoided that...my hair on the underside lifted very very well and went white however the hair on top went very brassy and I think that's why I've had issues with it taking and why I'm left with grey/blue/purple patches and one spot that just looks like it's had a dollop slogged in to it more than the rest.
I'm just as a loss as to how to try tidy it up a bit myself. As I say it will have to be next month at least before I can treat myself to go see a colourist in the mean time what can I do.
Thanks
Sorry if I sound totally ignore too my first time posting on here and like I say I'm not a hair professional.
