I don't know how savvy any of you are about MS Word, but figured I'd ask anyway.
I have created my invites in MS Word. My "printer" (friend) can print anything /everything under the sun in top quality. So, the colours available exceed what I can do on a home printer.
Ok, he's printing my invites on a lovely sage paper.
The text needs to be "Emerald" (like this: http://www.prsguitars.com/csc/color/img/lg_emgreen.jpg)
Now, I'm trying to create a "Custom" colour in MS word because the standard colours are too yellowish/brownish (basically, earthy tones).
But I can't "see" emerald when I'm fiddling in it. Clicking away, choosing different options in custom colour.
does anyone know the trick, or the formula for obtaining a shade like this one?
Keep in mind:
for my 'printer' to print my doc properly, I have to "save as" a .pdf file, by "printing" to "Adobe distiller", which I guess captures the 'image' of the document?
When I first sent the doc, his software didn't "see" my font, and printed my invites as Arial font instead of Script EEEEEEEKS
SO that means, he can't change it to emerald at his end.
So, if any of that made any sense to you, and you're able to help.
Please let me know.
THANKS!!
