Many people write similar threads to yours when they have booked the Creative conversion class! Why I do not know, because they all post the same thing after the course:

"LOVED it!!
"Wish I'd done it years ago!"
"I've never looked back since doing the course!"
"It was so much fun."
"The educator was fabulous!"
"I learned more in one day than in any other class I've ever done!"

Go and enjoy it. You are there to learn about Creative products. No one there will have any other motive than to help you to get the best out of it. Relax.

Geegs right on the nail (ha ha haaaaaa )

I did mine in Arpil and i was sooooooo nervous.I didn't think i would be good enough, i thought everyone would know more than me and even maybe i'd been doing it wrong for the past couple of years!
I have visions of me starting and people coming over asking what on arth i was doing!!!

But it was fab, you won't be under serious scrutiny or made to feel silly for asking questions.

I did a full set on the day, one hand tipped and one sculpted but we were only expected to do one hand as the emphasis was on the products and application.
Anything we didn't have with us we were able to go and buy too. (forgot my cuticle remover and 240 grits!)
It really gave me a kick up the whatsit to pull my finger out and look at more areas i could improve in.
Couldn't fault it.

Oh and since converting...
Used to take 1.5 hours on a full set and up to 2 on a maintenance -
now down to 1 hour full set and 1 hour 15 on maintenance.
So even though the products cost more - i'm making more money by being able to fit more clients in! :green:

I want to go on a one to one next, then the gel conversion, then everything else i guess!
xxxx

Have a great time.

Just mashing my brain with all these post re: creatgive, carlton.. so confused now.. and going to mash it even more with the next question !

Have mailed creative regarding conversions but wondered what the rules were, what do they accept as prior training/quals etc...

Since i cant acrtually do the foundation course (5days) maybe i could complete my IHBC or NVQ not sure which best to do nowadays! then see if i can do a creative conversion in the future.

any advice would be greatly received.

You won't get a reply from Creative until they announce who the new UK distributor is... it shouldn't be too much longer to wait now.

I'm just back from my conversion.. and yup.. I LOVED IT!!
Must say it had more to do with the lady who was teaching me then anything.. Of course the products were fab.. but she really took the time to walk me through everything.. and i felt in control for the first time in a long time.. Biggest lesson i learnt was that anyone can be a teacher but it takes a very special person to teach.. Not knocking courses i have done in the past.. just saying.. This woman was/is a Gem!

Thanks all, have had lots of advice on my dilemma lol just decided today that rather than do a course which i may have to do another to hone my skills, i am going to go and do the creative foundation course (phew) seems to be the only place i can do my training in Devon !!!
Prob be after Christmas now as have to save some money etc, my boy will be at preschool.. only thing now is that i would have to find live models to come with me everyday..

just waiting for info now on everything, so still will be online here seeing whats new etc. cos everyone has been great here :O)
