Can anyone tell me what powders are actually in Creative's custom blend kit please????

Every Perfect Color powder produced by CND is in this particular kit. :)

i thought that it was a mix of 22 shades of powder from the Perfect Color, Metro and Mosaic powder brands.

But which ones?

I think this is the kit you mean, isn't it? http://www.theindustrysource.com/scripts/itemdetail.asp?IK=769147

I have this kit but it's at the salon. From what I can remember, it has the white tip colors, the pink nail bed colors, some glittery colors and some bold colors. HTH

That kit will be changing to the SKIN TONES COLLECTION and it will house the following powders ONLY!!
NEW Neutral, Warm and Cool Perfect Colour Pinks in 8/10oz size (so much bigger that old CB Kit PLUS Yellow and Blue Opaque Powders and Brown Shimmer - that's it!!

How come they didn't include red powder in the new CB kit? I would want to be able to mix a dash of red into some blends for a pinker look. I know I can just get a jar of red powder, but I wondered about the reasoning behind leaving it out of the kit in the first place. :)

Real excited at the prospect of custom blending, have been reading up for weeks and am having a go!!!!
I am getting a very speckled finish as if the color powders are not fine enough, sure I read somewhere that you could use a pestle and morter to grind them down, andeliviate this prob, but wondering if I can just buy finer powders that dont require all this elbow grease!!!

Feeling far to lazy to grind powders:zzz: , Kora x

From what I was told, it all boiled down to simplicity. Thats why the collection are the skin tones, the bolds (all the color), and the shimmers (glimmer/metallic/etc.).

:)

I think becuase what you most use the red for, they have taken care of it in the neutral, cool and warm pinks. After that the colours you use most of are yellow, blue and brown hence those as the blenders. You can buy red and black seperately. Hope this helps!

The red was also quite hard to blend IYKWIM, it quite often left little speckles, so I think the new way is so much better.

If you use the search facility at the top of the page and search custom blend there is quite a few threads that may help you. HTH
