Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about CND brisa gel, can you do a course for this? Is it a file off or soak off? is it any good? lol looking to change from NSI Balance Gel - not enjoying having to file it off - scares me - been practising on myself and i'm through to my nail bed on my thumb!!! Very sore and very unattractive looking! Any help would be much appreciated!

CND Brisa is a lovely gel to work with, its easy to apply too. It is a file off gel, but it doesnt take alot to buff off. I use it alot for Hollywood toes, Im inundated with them. As for your question "is it any good" yes it is, as i said, its lovely to work with, it self levels, you get a great finish, and you get well satisfied client with it. i would certainly recommend it.

File off gel systems are actually more hard wearing that the soak off gels apparently. I heard this from a good source that I thouroughly trust.

could you not get in touch with CND (0845 210 6060) and ask for a sample pot and try it for yourself, its ok getting mega recomendations for a product, but there is nothing like trying it out for yourself flower.

Brisa gel is a buff off gel..call sweet squared 0845 210 6060 they will give you the info on courses..
Have you done a NSI gel course or just been practising on yourself ?
Soak off gels are softer..do a search of 'which gel' it has a few of the different ones on there...hth

I have just booked myself on the next Brisa day with The Fingertips Centre!

Every1 I no that has done the course was raving about it!

IT IS a buff off but I have been told that it is so soft to file down for rebalancing that you dont damage the natural nail.

Why dont u call them on 0131 333 3180, they are now the only Creative training school in Scotland.

I mite even see you on the course :)

Samples of Brisa Gels are not available ... mainly because you need the Brisa UV lamp to cure so without that a sample would be meaningless. CND are always happy to do demos on you though so you can test the product and see its workability before you invest in it.

Brisa is great as others have said.

Like you I hated filing gel down - particularly on myself. I did make mistakes to start off with as it is so difficult on your own hands. You will soon get the hang of it:)
