Hi Everyone, Could someone pleassssse give me some advice on the different Creative tips available. I have been practicing on friends and family for about 10 months now with Creative l&p and have only ever used the velocity tips., which I love!! but Id like to have other tips in stock as I gain experience, but Im not sure about the differences between the tips, or reasons when you might use one, rather than another. Any info about no contact area tips????? or anything else I should know would be great. Many thanks.....:)

You have got to try the new performance tips...OMG i am in love with them.....the shape, fit, everything.

They are a well-less tip with a natural side arch and deep smile ... they require no blending or removing of shine (cos there is no shine)...they come in natural and white (i think)...

I totally agree, I love these tips, I have the white and they are an absolute pleasure to use. I must order the natural, I keep forgetting!

CND tip choices

FORMATION - the classic parallell sided full well tip for those who love the square shape ... for use on nail plates that do not have a high arch. Natural colour and clear.

ECLIPSE - also parallell side walls and a full well that is notched so it can virtually be applied to any type of nail but is particularly suited to a plate with a high arch. Natural and clear

VELOCITY - a tip with tapered sidewalls and the fastest tip to blend in the world. Suits all nail types and has a very small well area ... quick and easy shaping for oval or almond shaped nails as well as square. White Clear and natural.

PERFORMANCE - The well less tips from CND which have taperd side walls and require no blending. White and Natural

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but it's been bugging me since I heard about performance tips. I haven't seen them yet so it may be obvious to those who have.

I they are well-less, zero contact area tips, then how exactly do you apply them? How do you stick them on if there is no well?

Okay, five minutes after asking this I found another thread discussing these tips.

I think I understand now:confused:

Theres a useful reference matrix in the new Sweet Squared catalogue which outlines they types of tips, features & benefits, & what colour they are available in. I would recommend to anyone who is unsure to have a look at this and keep a copy for reference.

Persoanlly I use performance tips as a standard because they reduce your service time since you dont need to remove shine & blend in. I still keep a 100 box of formation, and 1 of eclipse though, as performance dont suit everyone. I would use formation on biters/no free edge, and Eclipse on my mother in law who has freakishly square c curve and mega deep side walls.

Best wishes
