Can i just say, what a great site everyone is so friendlly and helpful!!
Do you all know each other? Do you all meet up on a regular basis?
Anyway back to another question, i done my conversion course at Hammersmith
with Ketan a few years ago.
Is there a training academy in Kent? As i found Hammersmith a nightmare to get
to on my own.
I think i need one to one training as i have no confidence, i've not done a set of nails for two years and i'm finding it very hard.
I am planning to go mobile again but the confidence is just not there:|
It sounds like everyone is going to Olympia on the Sunday, i'm not going until the Monday lets hope i'm not the only one there!
Keep up the good work everyone:)
love Lorrraine

Do you suffer from a lack of confidence in other areas of your life, or just with the nails?
I ask this question (which is rather personal) because the answer is important.
Being an excellent nail technician not only takes confidence in your work, but also in your interaction with people. In fact the 2 things are almost as important as each other.
We all know that durring ones career as a nail technician we get many challenges and confrontations and one needs to be able to stand firm -- which isn't easy.
You need to think this through and ask youself whether you feel you have the right personality to do the job.
I'm sure that Liza can help to advise you and put you on the right track to gaining he confidence you need ... it is very important.

Gigi thanks for the reply.
Would you believe i am a confident person :)
I enjoy doing nails but still think i'm not good enough to charge clients,
i will speak to Lisa in the next few weeks and dicuss one to one training.
I want to be good at what i do and i will be good one day!!!!
Its true what they say practice makes perfect.
This site has helped me get motivated and i have learned loads.
I think in the coming months i will be creative's best visitor:lol:
and my husband will be the poorest hubbie in kent after paying for it all!
love Lorraine
