Crushed shells

Hi,does anybody have photos of nails done using crushed shells in their album? Ive just brought some,and tried them on a few of my nails just on the tips,and I dont know if its because Ive been using glitter lately but they just look a bit bland /plain looking.

Mmm great ,thanks both,very useful.I will try them out again soon,it was a bit of a rush job,I just started doing my nails and the phone rang..well natter natter...45 mins later ,it was nearly time for school run!So I just put the crushed shells in with the top coat.Next time I ll mix em in with the acrylic and sculpt with them ah!:lol:

i have attached my crushed shells pic, i think they are really pretty, but you have to be careful you don't fo them too thick, which is the common mistake with crushed shells.....

Mmm yes I think there pretty too,I can imagine crushed shells are alot less messier to apply than glitter,glitter always gets everywhere!

i like using them, there are some on myblogspot.
smell really yucky when you file them though, bit like burning hair.:irked:

I actually hate using crushed shells.
They annoy me no end.....in fact I think I binned them all after this set.
Some things you like and some you don't eh? x
