Hi,

If and when you are using crushed shells should they be in biggish pieces so that you can able to pick the pieces up to embedd into your gel? and if so where do you get this type from?

I have ordered some but they are more like powder and i dont quite know how I'm supposed to use it.

Thanks

Hi, I have some from trendyprincess.com and they are not powder, I have a set of 12 different colours pots. I apply them on the bonder gel and coat them in bonder gel, cure, builder gel, cure and so on. They come really nice. The only problem is you have to file alot to get rid of them!
hope i was of some help:)

Can anyone else give me how they work on this please

Thanks

Hi I have got some crushed shell, its not like a powder tho. I apply a base coat cure, apply the shell where needed, apply builder cure, build apex more if needed cure, refine and buff, apply a finish gel and cure..x
But I do agree if shell is applied to thickly it is awful to file off...x

I was going to say pretty much the same as Suzie regarding application

Apply the base gel & cure, then brush on a layer of clear builder gel and set the crushed shell in that. Then build a 'c' curve over with more clear builder gel. Smooth & shaoe & then apply the gloss gel.

The crushed shell should not be powdery. It is small pieces of coloured shell basically.

regards
Gina
